Why BORACO was established
BORACO was established for processes where standard tools could not satisfy the component geometry, access, tolerance or production requirements. The tool is engineered around the machine, material, operation sequence and actual production conditions.
Scope of work
BORACO designs and manufactures custom turning, milling, form, boring, grooving and combination tools, evaluating the body, insert seat, cutting edge, machine interface, adjustment and maintenance as one system.
Tool reverse engineering
In reverse-engineering projects, an existing tool is not merely copied. Required performance, previous failure modes, material, manufacturing method, insert strategy and repeat supply are reviewed to produce a controllable design.
How a project proceeds
A project starts with the drawing or sample, machining areas, material, machine, holder, volume, tolerance and current issue, followed by engineering review, design, manufacture, dimensional inspection and starting application information.
